Final Fridays music returns to Allegheny County Courthouse

Music will return to the courtyard of the Allegheny County Courthouse on the final Fridays of May, June, July and August.

Free lunchtime concerts will take place from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. on the following dates:

 May 27, Maddie George – this acoustic singer-songwriter has been named one of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette's "Young Pittsburghers to Watch."

June 24, BNY Mellon Jazz presents "CAPA Jazz: Past, Present & Future."

July 29, The Vagrants Acoustic – Pittsburgh's premier rock acoustic duo.

August 26, Joy Ike – this neo-soul and pop performer has been named the Pittsburgh City Paper's "Best Solo Artist" three years running.

"We're proud to bring back the county's popular lunchtime concerts this summer," said Allegheny County Special Events Manager Bill Deasy. "I encourage everyone to bring their lunch and join us in the courthouse courtyard for some great music on the final Fridays of May, June, July and August."
