You should know more than pool tables are missed from the Market House.
We had a computer room where we learned to use computers; A room for exercising, line dancing, tai chi and more; A nurse's room; and, a ceramics room. The main area had many tables for lunch, card playing, socializing and bingo. There was an area for the Wii and television watching, and of course, the pool tables.
The Market House had parties, dinners, entertainment and festivals. It offered much, much more than a couple of hours for lunch and a little bingo, some card playing and socializing.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if all the bars and restaurants would pitch in to help save the Market House?
Maybe the money going for cutting up sidewalks to plant trees would help some too. Or, if this money couldn't be used there, it could be used for fixing sidewalks, filling pot holes, cleaning city lots or stuff like that, not cutting up sidewalks.
