Clemente programs at CLP-Knoxville

The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh Knoxville will present a realistic portrayal of the life and times of famed Pittsburgh Pirate player Roberto Clemente on Saturday, May 7 at 1 p.m.

Local actor and educator Greg Kenney will offer his historically accurate performance of Clemente, who not only excelled at baseball, but was a great humanitarian.

Refreshments will be served and school-aged kids can enter a drawing for Pittsburgh Pirates game tickets.

The program, which is for all ages, is presented in celebration of the Knoxville Branch's Family Study Buddies program.

The Knoxville Branch is at 400 Brownsville Road. News and events are always available at the branch's web page, www.carnegielibrary.org/locations/knoxville, or on Facebook by searching for Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh – Knoxville.
