Brashear artwork

Soaring some 25 feet above the heads of the students, Richard Claraval's sculpture Faun has been installed in the lobby of Brashear High School. Made of light weight styrofoam, the piece is suspended only by its attachment to the wall, and "leaps" up and out some 10 feet. The sculpture was purchased by The Friends of Art for the Pittsburgh Public Schools. The Friends of Art Collection has been incorporated into all PPS schools over the last 100 years.
