Community input needed for potential new Hilltop library

Pittsburgh's Hilltop residents are encouraged to share their ideas and opinions about a potential new Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh location during a community meeting on Saturday, March 19 from 10 – 11:30 a.m. Temple Baptist Church, 743 Brownsville Road.

During the conversation, library officials will provide the community with an update on the potential merger of CLP – Carrick and CLP – Knoxville and review prospective sites with the community. A timeline for the possible merger is not yet established, however, the library will complete the same design and usage process it has done for other renovations, involving anyone in the community who wishes to be a part.

Pre-registration for the community meeting is not required. For more information, contact Maggie McFalls, community engagement coordinator, Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh at 412-622-8877 or mcfallsm@carnegielibrary.org.
