Pittsburgh's Zoning Board of Adjustment has scheduled the following public hearings of interest to South Pittsburgh residents in the first floor hearing room of the John P. Robin Civic Building, 200 Ross Street, Downtown.

Zone case 3/11 on Thursday, Jan. 13 at 9:20 a.m. is the appeal of Thomas Donahue, owner/applicant for 2501 Larkins Way in the 16th Ward (Zoning District R2-VH).

Use Variance Requests: 912.04.F, Accessory structures must be 3' from a primary structure; 903.03.03.E.2, Rea set back, 0' provided and 5' required; 903.03.03.E.2, Interior set back, 1' provided and 10' required; and, 903.03.03.E.2, Exterior set ack, 0' provided and 5' provided.

Zone case 8/11 on Thursday, Jan. 20 at 9:00 a.m. is the appeal of Holly Nelson, owner/applicant for 850 Boggs Avenue in the 19th Ward (Zoning District R1D-L), for continued use of 11' x 26' and 10' x 21' U-shapped deck around an existing 18' diamter pool (31.5' at the rear of the "U").

Use Variance Requests: 903.03.B.1, Interior side yard set back, 0' provided and 5' required; 903.03.B.1, Interior side yard set back, 2' provided and 5' required; and, 903.03.B.1, Rear set back, 2' provided and 5' required.

Zone case 13/11 on Thursday, Jan. 20 at 9:40 a.m. is the appeal of Brian Young, owner/applicant for 1710 Fox Way in the 17th Ward (Zoning District R1A-VH), for a 19' x 37', 3-story single family dwelling with a 1-car integral garage, 8' x 6' second story deck at the rear and two 5' x 19' front balconies (with 3' x 3' HVAC).

Use Variance Requests: 925.06.C.1, Interior side yard setback, 3' provided and 1' provided; and, 912.04.C, Accessory structures and uses shall comply with the side set backs, 1' provided and 5' required.

Zone case 14/11 on Thursday, Jan. 20 at 9:50 a.m. is the appeal of McCombs Debby Reenay and Mollett Tuasheena, owner, and Trisda Group, applicant, for 614 Southern Avenue in the 19th Ward (Zoning District R1D-H), for continued use of 2-story 2-family dwelling (one at the front and one at the rear).

Use Variance Request: 911.02.B, Use variance, 2-family dwelling requested in a single family zoning district.

Zone case 18/11 on Thursday, Jan. 20 at 10:00 a.m. is the appeal of 2600 Southside Assoc. L/P. , owners, and TKA Architects, applic ant, in the 16th Ward, for use of 7-story structure as 87-dwelling units with 88 integral parking space.

Special Exception Request: 921.02.A, Expansion of an existing legal-non-conforming use (from office general to 87 dwelling units).

Plans are on file for these cases and may be inspected up to the date of the hearing. Anyone who wishes to be heard must appear in person.
