"Any male can be a Dad; it takes a real man to be a father …"
Joshua Development Corporation is partnering with the Hill House Association to bring the Young Fathers Program to the Hilltop Community. This program is designed to work with unemployed, non-custodial fathers.
Beginning December 14 at 6 p.m. and monthly thereafter in the Educational Multipurpose Center, 430 Cathedral Avenue in Mount Oliver, young fathers will be exposed to a curriculum and engage in a variety of workshops focused on job readiness, job retention, secondary education/training, parenting/manhood, among other topics.
Eligible participants are non-custodial fathers, ages 17-24 who are under or unemployed. Those who could benefit from this program are encouraged to call 412-488-8790 to register. This is a free service to Hilltop community young fathers.
