The Mount Oliver Ambulance Service (MOAS) is reminding borough residents that it's time to sign up for the service.
The yearly $25 subscription covers the cost of ambulance service for everyone in a family household at the address.
In a notice from the MOAS to borough residents, it was noted if the service doesn't have enough subscribers, Pittsburgh may not continue the agreement to send its paramedics into the borough. The notice also warned Mount Oliver residents health insurances alone may not cover the cost of having an ambulance come to the house.
"It's crucial for every resident to sign up for the ambulance service," according to the notice.
