Police ask for help in finding Mt. Washington bank robber

Last Thursday, November 4, a white man, approximately 30 years old, 5'10" tall and between 170-190 pounds, robbed the First Niagara Bank on Shiloh Street in Mount Washington.

Police from the Zone 3 Station were alerted the actor fled the bank on foot towards Virginia Avenue. Upon arrival officers spoke with employees of the bank who reported the man was wearing all black clothing, with his face covered and wearing sunglasses, was observed coming through the door with the firearm in his hand while telling everyone in the bank to get on the ground.

The man approached several tellers demanding money and no dye pack. In each case, the teller complied with the robber's demands. The man fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Pittsburgh Police are investigating the incident and are asking if anyone can provide any information in regard to this robbery to contact the Robbery Squad at 412-323-7151. Callers may remain anonymous.
