Untitled relocated to Grandview Park

In Grandview Park on Wednesday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. join representatives of the City of Pittsburgh, The Mount Washington Community Development Corporation and the Allentown Community Development Corporation, The Friends of Grandview Park, and artist James Myford in celebration of his recently reconstructed sculpture that has been relocated to Grandview Park.

In celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Grandview Park in 2009, Mayor Luke Ravenstahl and the Public Art Division of the Department of City Planning announced the gift of this city-owned sculpture "Untitled ,: by local artist James Myford to the Mount Washington and Allentown communities for this location in Grandview Park.

This is one of five pieces of the city's art collection that are undergoing conservation made possible through a grant to the City of Pittsburgh from the Richard King Mellon Foundation.

The entrance to Grandview Park is at 499 Bailey Avenue. The park is part of Emerald View Park in Allentown/Mount Washington.
