Ghost hunters visit Carrick Library

The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh Carrick is planning a frightfully good time at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21.

Come to the library to listen to The Peace of Mind Paranormal Society talk about their experiences hunting ghosts. Using the most up-to-date equipment and innovative techniques this Pittsburgh-based paranormal research team researches and investigates the unexplained.

The scary good times continue with Movie Time at the library. They will be showing classic horror films on Saturday, Oct. 16 from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m.

Active adults 50 years who would like to age healthfully and meet new people should consider Wise Walk at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh Carrick. All participants will receive a complimentary pedometer and walking guide.

Anyone can join them for their weekly walk or they can visit the library weekly to report the number of steps they've taken and enjoy a healthy snack. They can also report their steps electronically through email at carrick@carnegielibrary.org.
