Wild About Mo Willems, more at Carrick Library

The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, Carrick is planning children's programs during October.

Wild About Mo Willems, an all ages family program, is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 2 at 10:30 a.m. Elephant and Piggie! Pigeon and Knuffle Bunny! Mo Willems is the author of some fun fabulous children's books. Come and hear stories and join in crafts and activities based on Mo Willem's popular books.

Family Craft Day: Halloween Edition will take place on Saturday, Oct. 2 at 1 p.m. During the all ages program, families will make a spooky Halloween or fun Fall craft.

A three-week session of Super Science programs is planned for October 6-20 on Wednesdays from 4-5 p.m. Grades K-5 will learn about science through hands-on activities. The Fifth Annual Halloween Haunted House will take place on Thursday, Oct. 28, 5-6:30 p.m. when the library's meeting room is turned into a spooky haunted house. The Halloween Haunted House is recommended for children six years and up. Children younger than six years must be accompanied by an adult. There will be crafts and candy too.
