SSPC holds flea market

September 21, 2010

The South Side Presbyterian Church is holding a flea market on Saturday, Sept. 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A great variety of items is expected, including fine items for gifts. The church plans to have a simple food sale as well with hot dogs, chips, coffee and soda. A dining area will be available.

Proceeds from the sale benefit the church's New Roof Fund. The church is seeking to raise the money by next year for a new main roof on its historic 1869 building. Donations to the New Roof Fund can be made at any time with a check made out to the church.

The South Side Presbyterian Church is at the corner of South 20th and Sarah streets and is handicap accessible. For more information, phone 412-431-0118.
