Why scream at 4 a.m.
Last night at 4 a.m. I was awakened by a gang of people running up 28th and Sarah streets yelling and screaming their heads off.
By the time I got down the steps they were at Steve Seventy Way.
I'm 68 years old, and I don't know where they come from or where they were going, but all I know is they disrupted my sleep. Yes, I was young once and partied and stayed out late, but I don't recall running up Sarah Street yelling at 4 a.m.
I reported a similar incident to 911 a few months ago and Bruce Kraus called me the next day. In my opinion he is doing a great job trying to clean up the rowdy South Side drunkenness.
