World War II veterans bus trip to National Memorial

World War II veterans can register for a free one-day bus trip to the WWII National Memorial in Washington, D.C. scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 5.

The buses will leave at 6 a.m. from five locations: Coraopolis, Ross Park, Monroeville, Greentree and Beaver, and return at approximately 9 p.m. A box lunch dinner and beverages will be provided. Wheelchairs will be available if requested.

For more information or to register call 724-709-3614. Seating is reserved for WWII veterans only; Family, friends and spouses cannot be accommodated.

Donations, which will enable the organization to provide this trip free of charge to veterans, will be accepted. Each $60 donation will cover expenses for one veteran. To make a donation mail a check payable to "WWII Memorial Vets Trip" to: Kingsway Engineering, 1331 State Avenue, Coraopolis, PA 15108.
