Have your antiques appraised as part of the Cornfest activities

An Appraisal Fair will be held at the Carrick Cornfest Saturday, Aug. 21, from noon-2 p.m.

Three professional appraisals will be appraising items (the items must be able to be carried) for $5 per item with a limit of three pieces or sets of pieces per person. Large items including furniture and cars will not be appraised.

Antiques, jewelry, watches, clocks and crystals will be appraised by Anthony Luppino of Luppino Brothers. Depression glass, elegant glass, kitchen glass and pottery will be appraised by Edie Putanko of Edie's Glassware. Photographs, documents, books and sports memorabilia will be appraised by Robert O. Stakely, archivist.

Appraisals given are verbal only and not intended for insurance purposes.
