Summer reading club ends with celebration

Celebrate the end of Summer Reading at the South Side Branch Library on Saturday, Aug. 7 at 11:30 a.m.

Anyone, young or old, who participates in Summer Reading Clun at the South Side Branch is welcome to attend. It's not too late to sign up.

Every child in attendance will receive a free book, courtesy of Reading is Fundamental (RIF). Summer Reading t-shirts and certificates will als be awarded to children who have read during the summer. Children should be sure to record their summer reading online or by bringing in their filled-in folder.

The celebration will include a balloon artist who will create a personalized balloon sculpture while everyone watches. Prize drawing and refreshemtns found out the fun for all ages ages.
