Pittsburgh's Zoning Board of Adjustment has scheduled the following public hearings of interest to South Pittsburgh residents in the first floor hearing room of the John P. Robin Civic Building, 200 Ross Street, Downtown.
Zone case 135/10 on Thursday, June 24 at 9:10 a.m. is the appeal of Ennis Associates, applicant for 2115 Wharton Street in the 16th Ward, for an appeal requesting to construct a one and two story addition with roof-top deck above existing one-story structure for use as a single family dwelling with integral first floor one-car garage.
The appellant is requesting relief of the minimum interior side yard setback requirements of Section 903.03E of the City of Pittsburgh Zoning Code.
Zone case 100/10 on Thursday, June 24 at 9:40 a.m. is the appeal of Madonna Land Company, applicant for 129 McKean Street in the 17th Ward, for an appeal requesting demolition and reconstruction of a four-story structure for use as a 15-family dwelling with 12 off-street parking stalls.
The appellant is requesting relief from the minimum interior side yard setback requirements and relief from the required number of parking stalls. Multi-unit residential uses are permited by Special Exception, to be reviewed for approval by the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
Plans are on file for these cases and may be inspected up to the date of the hearing. Anyone who wishes to be heard must appear in person.
