AAA holding public hearing on 2010-11 plan and budget

The Advisory Council of the Allegheny County Department of Human Services, Area Agency on Aging (AAA) will hold a public hearing on Fri ., June 11, at 10 a.m ., in the Gold Room on the fourth floor of the County Courthouse. The purpose of the public hearing is to solicit comments on the 2010-2011 Area Plan and Budget Prospectus.

Persons wishing to give testimony may register in advance by calling 412-350-4083 for an assigned five-minute time slot. Speakers may also register the day of the hearing and provide testimony as time permits.

The week of the public hearing, the plan will be posted on the DHS website www.alleghenycounty.us/dhs/plansbudgets.aspx.To request a hard copy of the plan, call 412-350-4083 or contact Ken Kornick by email at kenneth.kornick@allegheny county.us.

Written testimony will be accepted at or after the hearing. All testimony must be received no later than Mon ., June 14 either by

e-mail to the above contact, or mailed to the Allegheny County Department of Human Services, Area Agency on Aging, 441 Smithfield Street, second floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
