Pittsburgh's Zoning Board of Adjustment has scheduled the following public hearings of interest to South Pittsburgh residents in the first floor hearing room of the John P. Robin Civic Building, 200 Ross Street, Downtown.
Zone case 65/10 on Thursday, April 1 at 9:30 a.m. is the appeal of Meridan Street Associates LLC, appellant for 125 Meridan Street/114-124 Hallock Street in the 19th Ward, for an appeal requesting to construct a three and four-story, ten-family dwelling.
The appellant is requesting relief because the use is not permitted in R1D-H (Single Family Residential, High Density) Zoning District.
Zone case 73/10 on Thursday, April 8 at 9:30 a.m. is the appeal of Ryan Melnychuk, appellant for 1822 Sidney Street / 1823 Wrights Way in the 17th Ward, for an appeal requesting three off-site parking stalls at the rear of single-family dwelling.
The appellant is requesting relief from (1) the minimum Side Yard setback requirements: 10' required; 1' provided; and, (2) from the Rear Yard setback requirement: 2' required, 1' provided. In addition, off-site parking shall be treated as a special exception, for Zoning Board review and compliance with section 914.07.G.2 of the City Zoning Code.
Plans are on file for these cases and may be inspected up to the date of the hearing. Anyone who wishes to be heard must appear in person. The board does not accept letters or petitions.
