Prince of Peace hosts annual Slovak Mass, Easter customs


Prince of Peace Parish will host the 20th Annual Slovak Mass and Easter Customs Breakfast on Saturday, March 27, at St. Adalbert Church, South 14th Street.

All are welcome to come and share in the celebration of the Slovak religious culture and traditional Easter customs. The day begins at 10:45 a.m. with recitation of the rosary, followed by Mass at 11 a.m. with prayers and hymns sung in Slovak. After Mass, everyone is invited to the Prince of Peace Parish Center, 81 South 13th Street, for a complementary Slovak Easter breakfast and the opportunity to experience some of the Slovak Easter traditions.

Admission is free, but in order for the parish to be adequately prepared, call the Prince of Peace Parish office at 412-481-8380 for reservations. To make a donation for the breakfast or for further information, call Paul Zatek at 412- 488-8238.
