Get a passport to the exciting world of science at South Side Library's Super Science Saturday on January 30 at 11 a.m.
Representatives from the Carnegie Science Center will take children on a "Journey Into Space" and Conservation Consultants, Inc. will enlighten them with an "Energy Bag of Tricks," during this program intended for children in grades 3-5. These fun and challenging science activities will expand on the Pittsburgh Public Schools curriculum and provide students with hands-on experiments that demonstrate the improtance of science in everyday life and encourage critical and creative thinking.
Free books will be provided for those who complete the circuit of activities. Parents and/or guardians are welcome to attend.
Those who are planning to attend the Chess Classes at 1 p.m. may bring a brown-bag lunch.
