Graffiti, fire safety on agenda for this month's Carrick C.C.

"The Surge of Graffiti in Carrick" is the topic for the next meeting of the Carrick Community Council on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 7 p.m. in the Concord Elementary School Auditorium.

The agenda will include a presentation from the Pittsburgh Police Anti-Graffiti Task Force and information on how to report and what to do about the recent surge of graffiti in the business and residential properties in Carrick.

The evening will also include a program on Fire Safety and Prevention with Floyd McCrea of the Pittsburgh Fire Bureau. Mr. McCrea will provide information on free city smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, safety measures and emergency planning.

All area residents and business owners are welcome to attend.
