Sign up for Spring Soccer in Beechview

Sign ups for Beechview Athletic Associations (BAA) Spring Soccer will continue from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays, January 23 and February 6 at St. Pamphilus Church, 1000 Tropical Avenue.

Spring Soccer will be a traveling soccer league for players ages 10 to 19 years old. The date for age computation is July 31, 2010.

The BAA hopes to field boys' and girls' teams in the following divisions:

Boys: Under 12; Under 14; Under 16; and. Under 17

Girls: Under 12; Under 14; Under 16; Under 17; and, Under 19.

Due to the popularity of the spring soccer season, teams will be formed on a first come, first served basis. No regard will be given to previous playing experience, locality or ability level. All sign-ups must be completed at one of the sign-ups to confirm placement on a team.

Players mus provide a 1" x 1" head shot photo (a school photo will be fine) and proof of age (copy of birth certificate, board of heath record, passport, INS certificate or current driver's license).

Players my also download an application from the BAA Website: www.leaguelineup.com/baasports/baasoccer and mail it to Ike at the address on the top of the form, but this may not guarantee a spot on the roster.

Spring Soccer registration fee is $60 per player, plus a $20 Edinboro Tournament Fee (this is a $20 non-refundable fee per child to pay for the $375 per team fee). All Spring Soccer Season players are expected to attend the tournament. The tournament is normally held on the third and fourth weekends in June. The Actual dates will be announced at sign-ups.
