Pgh. Zoning Board hearings

Pittsburgh's Zoning Board of Adjustment has scheduled the following public hearings of interest to South Pittsburgh residents in the first floor hearing room of the John P. Robin Civic Building, 200 Ross Street, Downtown.

Zone case 1/10 on Thursday, Jan. 7 at 8:50 a.m. is the appeal of Kolano Design, for 19 Hot Metal Street in the 16th Ward, for an appeal requesting a 400 square foot (100' x 4') illuminated high-wall mounted business identification sign.

Zone case 5/10 on Thursday, Jan. 7 at 9:30 a.m. is the appeal of Bob Sobocinski, owner of 3202 Jane Street in the 16th Ward, for an appeal requesting two 5' x 20' ofpen-frame decks on the first and second floor of existing 2-story, single family dwelling.

Zone case 7/10 on Thursday, Jan. 7 at 9:50 a.m. is the appeal of Atlas Neon Sign Corp, for 2920 South Water Street in the 16th Ward, for an appeal requesting a 228½ square foot high-wall business identification sign (Spring Hill suites Marriott) on front elevation of existing 6-story structure.

Plans are on file for these cases and may be inspected up to the date of the hearing. Anyone who wishes to be heard must appear in person. The board does not accept letters or petitions.
