Thanksgiving Farmers' Market Saturday at Schwartz Market

Western Pennsylvania Buy Fresh Buy Local will present a Thanksgiving Local Farmers' Market on Saturday, Nov. 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Schwartz Market, 1317 East Carson Street, South Side.

The Farmers' Market will feature local root vegetables, salad greens, meats, eggs, cheese, apples, honey, prepared foods, cider, crafts make from locally-grown items, soaps, baked goods, candy, gift baskets and more.

Participating vendors include: Apoidea Apiary, local honey and gift baskets; Clarion River Organics, certified organic vegetables; Green Circle Farm, pastured, uncertified organic beef, lamb, chicken, turkey and eggs; Patty Lemer, Sterling Silver and bead jewelry; Simple Sugars, all natural, high-quality body scrubs; Sonshine Farm, beef, lamb, veal, duck, rabbit, wool, yarn, knitted goods and wool crafts; Slow Cooked, prepared foods using local ingredients, including holiday items like pumpkin pie, pumpkin seed brittle, cranberry sauce, turkey gravy and fresh soups; River View Dairy, goat cheese; and Woolf Farms, apples.
