Come to S. Side Library to for stories of 'Old' Pittsburgh

Stories of "Old Pittsburgh" will be heard at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, South Side Branch, as part of the branch's 100th anniversary celebration.

The program for children and their families is planned for Saturday, Nov. 21, beginning at 11 a.m. Professional storyteller Mary Morgan Smith will relate special stories of Pittsburgh's history.

Those visiting the library can enter a contest to name the new giraffe mascot, learn how to make butter and enjoy light refreshments along with their South Side neighbors.
