Arlington Civic Council will hold annual Christmas dinner

November 17, 2009

The Arlington Civic Council annual adult Christmas gathering will take place on Monday, Dec. 7 at 6 p.m. at the Henry Kaufmann Neighborhood House, corner of Fernleaf and Salisbury streets in Arlington.

This year's theme is "Believe."

"What that means to each and every person is subject to interpretation" according to Teri Cataldo, the current ACC president. "We are hoping people will decide that to believe includes becoming more involved in the community via clean-ups, block watch, activities and a sharing of ideas."

Dinner tickets can be reserved by calling 412/390-2082. The cost is $7 per person and tickets must be ordered no later than December 1.

The council promises many surprises this year and welcomes all to attend this 40 year tradition to ring in the Christmas holiday.

Donations for the Brashear Food Pantry and unwrapped toy drive are encouraged.
