Kids can have lunch with Santa at Arlington party

Arlington Civic Council is planning Lunch with Santa for neighborhood children at the Henry Kaufmann Center on Sunday, Dec. 13 at 1 p.m.

Reservations are due by December 4 with the names, addresses, phone numbers, genders and ages of all children planning to attend. Messages can be left at 412-390-2082. There is no cost for the event but the council strongly urges all attendees to bring a dozen cookies and a donation for the Brashear Food Pantry. The pantry is overwhelmed by calls for help during the holiday season.

This year marks the 23rd annual children's Christmas event which has become such a community favorite of children and parents alike.

Children must be part of a dues paying membership family in order to register. Dues must be paid prior to the day of the event. They should be mailed to ACC 2201 Salisbury St. Pittsburgh, PA 15210. Membership fee is $5 per year.

All registered children will receive lunch, craft activities, treats and a gift from Santa.

Space is limited.
