Hilltop Alliance goes online today

November 3, 2009

The Hilltop Alliance is going live with its website, www.pghhilltopalliance.org, on November 3.

The Hilltop Alliance is a new group pulling together existing organizations in the South Pittsburgh Hilltop neighborhoods of Allentown, Arlington, Arlington Heights, Beltzhoover, Bon Air, Carrick, Knoxville, Mount Oliver, Mount Oliver Borough, and Saint Clair. The group's mission is "To connect neighborhood-based organizations and leverage their individual efforts, creating a shared vision and voice for the Hilltop."

This is the first organization of its kind to be formed in this area.

The new website, www. pghhilltopalliance.org, will keep residents informed about the Hilltop Alliance and the neighborhoods it serves. It features an up-to-date community calendar, a news feed, and information about the individual neighborhoods served by the Hilltop Alliance.

Additionally, there's a link to stay connected to Positive Change on the Hilltop, a Dialogue-to-Action effort. Visitors to the site will know what action teams are doing, how they can help, and how to get involved with the next dialogue.

This website is for everyone who lives, works, plays, or has an interest in the South Pittsburgh Hilltop neighborhoods.
