Spaghetti dinner in South Side

The South Side Presbyterian Church will host its fourth annual Spaghetti Dinner Buonissimo! Fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 24.

The dinner sill feature a variety of sauces, pasta, tossed salad, bread or rolls, meatballs, Italian sausage, beverage and a choice of desserts. Serving times are 4 to 8 p.m.

Tickets are available in advance for $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under; tickets can be purchased at the church Tuesday and Friday mornings at the church. Guests may also buy tickets at the door for and additional $1 per ticket.

The Spaghetti Dinner is a fundraiser in the church's "New Roof Fund" campaign. They hope to raise all the money that is needed by 2010.

The South Side Presbyterian Church is at the corner of South 20th and Sarah streets on South Side. The entrance for the dinner is on 20th Street. The church is fully handicap accessible.

Free parking for this event is being provided by UPMC Mercy South Side Outpatient Center in their lot on 20th Street (entrance between Jane and Mary) from 4 to 9 p.m. For more information, call 412-431-0118.
