Science Center workshops will prepare students for fairs
Carnegie Science Center will hold a series of workshops intended to assist students in preparing for science fairs, with an emphasis on competing in the Pittsburgh Regional Science and Engineering Fair, March 26-27, 2010.
Each workshop will examine techniques for choosing an interesting topic, an overview of conducting science research, a review of past award-winning projects, and role playing with students and judges to practice presentation skills.
Workshop presenters include teachers, judges, and past student winners.
Workshops will be held Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 6:30 p.m. at Franklin Regional Middle School in Murrysville, and Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Carnegie Science Center.
