Family, kids activites in Knoxville

The Knoxville Branch Library, 400 Brownsville Road, has programs for kids and families coming up in August.

Crafts for Kids: Button Making will take place from 4-5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 19, encourages kids in grades 1-5 to use their creativity and personal style to make fashion buttons.

The whole family is welcome to come to the library to play Baseball for Nintendo Wii on Saturday, Aug. 22 from 2-3 p.m.

Crafts for Kids: Origami will take place on Saturday, Aug. 29, from 2-3 p.m. where kids in grades 1-5 will learn how to make a hopping from using the art of Japanese paper folding.
