Summer Reading Program continues at Carrick Library

Come to the Carrick Library in August for Summer Reading Programs.

Programs include:

• Artful Stories is Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2-3 p.m. for grades K-5. Enjoy stories about artists and make an art project.

• Make Sock Puppets at Family Art on Wednesday, August 5, 1-3 p.m. All ages are welcome.

• Arts and Crafts for grades K-2 is Thursday, August 6, 2-3 p.m. and Arts and Crafts for grades 3-6 is Thursday, Aug. 6, 3-4 p.m. This week we will make homemade books and bookmarks.

• Storytime for all ages is back on Thursdays at 11:15 a.m. Something for every age up to six years old at this fun storytime with books and songs.

• Toddler Art is on Fridays, Aug. 7, 14 and 21 at 10 a.m. for Ages 1-3. Young children will experiment with art materials after a storytime.

• Our End of Summer Reading Party is Saturday August 15, 1-3 p.m. All ages are invited to be creative at a "Snow Day in Summer" where they will play snow games and make snow crafts to cool down during the hottest time of the year.
