The Allegheny County Department of Human Services operates a SummerFood Program for children 18 years of age and younger in low-income communities.
Free breakfast and lunch will be provided in conjunction with a recreation program from June 15 to August 21.
Delicious, nourishing meals will be served weekdays at approximately 120 locations throughout Allegheny County. A site supervisor and accompanying staff will be present to assure the well-being and interest of the children.

The SummerFood Program, which serves children and youth without regard to gender, race, color, national origin or disability, is made possible through a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Division of Food and Nutrition.
