Genealogy program slated for Carrick Branch Library

Those interested in discovering a branch of their family tree can come to the Carrick Library on Saturday, May 2 from 10:30 a.m.-noon to learn how to begin their search.

Marilyn Holt, head of the Pennsylvania Department at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh and an expert on genealogy, will discuss how to conduct a genealogy search and how to record, organize and store historical information. This free program on beginning genealogy will be at the Carnegie Library of PittsburghCarrick which is located at 1811 Brownsville Road (next to St Basil Church).
