Carrick Redd-up will be on April 25

The Carrick Litter Patrol has put out a call for volunteers to help clear the neighborhood from the winter litter.

Carrick's Spring Redd-up is scheduled for Saturday, April 25 in conjunction with Earth Day and the City's Redd-up program. Volunteers will meet at the Carrick Shopping Center in the rear near Auntie Lisa's Storage Units for the "Redd-up" beginning at 10:30 a.m. and continuing until 1:30 p.m.

Trash Bags, gloves and bottle water will be provided. Volunteers should wear comfortable clothes, shoes, and sun screen.

Everyone coming out is asked to wear a green shirt, any color of green, any style of shirt. This is a way to let the community know they are part of the team, improving the litter problem with a hands-on approach together.

This is a Community Event, everyone is welcome and needed to help make the neighborhood clean and safe.

Any one with questions, or who want information on the Redd-up or to volunteer: should call or email Dawn Harder 412-819-0889 nuvoyinzer2@verizon.net
