Carrick Cougars Hockey Club recruiting ice hockey players

March 3, 2009

The Carrick Cougars Hockey Club is seeking additional ice hockey players to build their teams at all levels for the upcoming 2009-2010 season.

Players do not have to live in Carrick or attend Carrick High School to be eligible to play for the Cougars. The club is opened to male and female students who will enter grades 6 through 12 in September of 2009.

The Cougars participate in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League (PIHL) and their home ice is Ice Castle Arena in Castle Shannon. They currently have players on their roster who attend Brashear, Perry, Brentwood, and City High Charter School.

Students are eligible to play for the Cougars as long as the child's feeder high school does not have a hockey program participating in PIHL. To learn more about the Carrick Cougars program or have a child attend one of the upcoming practices contact John Shamlin at 412-508-9793 or visit their web site at http://www.leaguelineup.com/carrickcougars
