Woman to Woman program will focus on women's heart health

February 3, 2009

The next Hilltop Health Ministries Consortium “Woman to Woman” program is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 601 Brownsville Road in Mount Oliver.

Debbie Koch RN, Parish Nurse, will lead the discussion on “The Heart Truth.” Heart disease is the number one killer of women — about one in every three women, no matter their race or ethnicity.

Because February 6 is National Wear Red Day, which supports women's heart health, participants are asked to wear something red to the program. Every one who wears red will be entered into a drawing.

“Woman to Woman” is a program to help women stay healthy in body, mind and spirit. The group provides a forum for sharing, learning and growing, as well as providing support and information to all women, on issues that affect the health and wellness of women.

Call the Parish Nurse, Debbie Koch at 412-381-8300 ext. 20 if planning to attend or for more information.
