South Side Library has activities for kids

On Thursday, Jan. 8, 13, 22 and 29 the South Side Library will offer Preschool Storytime at 1:30 p.m. for ages 2½ to 5 with an adult. Activities include stories, crafts, games and more.

Chess Classes for Kids will be Saturday, Jan. 10, 17 and 24 at 1 p.m. for boys and girls ages 6-12 who are familiar with the chess board and know basic moves. Registration is required.

Warm Stories for a Winter's Day is family story and craft time for kids 2-10 years old with their families. It starts at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17.

Get your game on with video games on PS2 or Wii plus snacks and other entertainment for ages 11-17 at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31.
