Exercise Class on Hilltop

Those with symptoms of arthritis pain and stiffness or have any of the many forms of arthritis are eligible to attend the Arthritis Exercise Program offered by The Hilltop Health Ministries Consortium Parish Nurse Program.

These exercises are approved and recommended by the Arthritis Foundation, and involve education, relaxation, increasing flexibility, endurance and strength. Classes begin Tuesday January 20.

The group meets twice weekly on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 10 a.m ., with the class lasting 1-1½ hours. The classes meet at Trinity Lutheran Church, 601 Brownsville Rd in Mount Oliver.

There is no charge for the class, but it is recommended that participants receive approval from their physician before beginning the classes. Call Debbie Koch RN, Parish Nurse at 412-381-8300 ext. 20 to register for the class or for more information.
