Pgh. Zoning Board hearings

Pittsburgh's Zoning Board of Adjustment has scheduled the following public hearings of interest to South Pittsburgh residents in the first floor hearing room of the John P. Robin Civic Building, 200 Ross Street, Downtown.

Zone Case 235/08 on Thursday, Dec. 11 at 8:50 a.m. is the appeal of Brandy Mangham, owner of 52 Grape Street, has filed an appeal requesting to use the property for (general) childcare for up to 12 children, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Zone Case 240/08 on Thursday, Dec. 11 at 9:50 a.m. is the appeal of Pennsylvania American Water Co., owner of 317 Knox Avenue, requesting to use the 640 sq. ft. one-story building for chemical storage abutting the existing pump station (relocate transformer)(utility-general).

Plans are on file for these cases and may be inspected up to the date of the hearing. Anyone who wishes to be heard must appear in person. The board does not accept letters or petitions.
