Hard to Recycle event Saturday in Robinson

The Allegheny County Health Department and the Pennsylvania Resources Council are sponsoring a drop-off collection event for hard-to-recycle items on Saturday, Nov. 15.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 pm., in the parking lot of the Mall at Robinson in Robinson Township. It will be in the lower level lot near Sears.

The following items will be accepted for a nominal fee:

Tire with no rim, $2; freon and non-freon appliances, $5; TV under 19", $15; TV 20"-29", $25; TV 30"-39", $35; TV 40" or greater, $50; CPU or laptop computer, $5; monitor, $8; personal computer, monitor, keyboard and mouse combined, $12; mixed wire/cable/mice/keyboard, $1; printer/scanner/fax/ups, $5; VHS/DVD/stereo/phone, $2.

No fees will be charged for cell phones, printer cartridges, compact fluorescent light bulbs, mixed paper and cardboard.
