Sign language classes at the Brentwood Library

Another eight-week class for those interested in beginners' sign language will be offered at the Brentwood Library starting Monday, Sept. 15 at 6:30 p.m. Those who want to refresh their knowledge are also encouraged to attend.

The class will be taught by Ang Zeis. Call 412-882-5694 for more information. The classes are for age 7 and up.

Author Gwyn Cready will visit the library on Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. to discuss her books Seducing Mr. Darcy and Tumbling Through Time, as well as Jane Austen, the history of time travel in fiction, and how she became a published author. Ms. Cready lives in Pittsburgh with her family and is currently working on two more novels.
