Parents Club in Carrick

Beginning with Books Center for Early Literacy is bringing the Raising Readers Parents Club to the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, Carrick.

This free program provides an opportunity to discuss concerns parents may have about their child's reading, information on how to locate the right books, instruction for parents to become more skillful and confident in reading to their children and encouragement to read aloud daily.

Each participant also receives a free book for each session they attend. This program is for parents of babies and toddlers and runs for six sessions. The program is on Tuesdays at 11a.m. beginning September 23 through October 28.
