Celebrate favorite book characters at S.S. Library

September 9, 2008

Celebrate favorite book characters on Saturday, Sept. 13 at the South Side Library with stories, games and puppet making.

Children ages 2-9 can also bring a favorite action figure, doll, or stuffed animal representing their favorite book character to add to the festivities. The program begins at 11:30 a.m.

Preschool story times are scheduled every Thursday at 1 p.m. These programs are designed to enhance early literacy skills in children ages 2-5. Singing, fingerplays, stories, puppets and crafts make learning fun.

The library is at 2205 East Carson Street. Call 412-431-0505 for more information or visit http://www.carnegielibrary. org/locations/southside/.
