Those who have problems with any of the many forms of arthritis are eligible to attend the Arthritis Exercise Program offered by The Hilltop Health Ministries Consortium Parish Nurse Program.

These exercises are approved and recommended by the Arthritis Foundation, and involve education, relaxation, increasing flexibility, endurance and strength. Beginning September 9 they will begin an eight-week session that will run through October 30.

They will meet weekly on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 10 a.m. The class lasts 1-1½ hours and includes education, range of motion, strengthening, endurance, and relaxation.

Classes will meet at Trinity Lutheran Church, 601 Brownsville Rd in Mount Oliver. There is no charge for the class. It is recommended that participants receive approval from their physician before beginning the classes.

Call Debbie Koch RN, Parish Nurse at 412-381-8300 ext. 20 to complete registration for the class or for more information.
