Local hearing scheduled for the Pgh. Zoning Board

Pittsburgh's Zoning Board of Adjustment has scheduled three public hearings of interest to South Pittsburgh residents for Thursday, Aug. 7 in the first floor hearing room of the John P. Robin Civic Building, 200 Ross Street, Downtown.

Zone case 142/08 at 9:10 a.m. is the appeal of Bedford County Memorial Park, Inc ., owner of 1404 Brownsville Road, to install a 150 foot monopole communications tower (class B) in South Side Cemetery.

Zone case 145/08 at 9:30 a.m. is the appeal of David Cooper, owner of 413 Bailey Avenue (411-415) for approximately 245 feet of ornamental fencing with brick pillars and security gate from southwest corner of three attached dwellings along front property line to southeast corner of structure (411-415 Bailey).

Zone case 148/08 at 9:40 a.m. is the appeal of Andrew Spochacz for a two family dwelling, 13' x 11.5' first and second floor decks, detached 1-car garage and 1-car parking stall at rear, and 7 foot privacy fence on rear south property line.

Plans are on file for these cases and may be inspected up to the date of the hearing. Anyone who wishes to be heard must appear in person. The board does not accept letters or petitions.
