Meet the Doctor providing info on leukemia, lymmphoma

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is presenting a free cancer education program, Meet the Doctor, that offers up-to-date disease and treatment information and management strategies for individuals and family members facing the challenges of a blood cancer.

Meet the Doctor provides an opportunity for participants to ask questions and raise concerns, and have them addressed by experts in the field of medicine and oncology.

On Tuesday, July 22 at 7 p.m. Dr. Andrew Laman will present “An Update on Blood Cancers” at the Christ United Methodist Church in Bethel Park. Dr. Laman currently serves as a hematologist/oncologist at UPMC Cancer Center, Jefferson Regional. The forum will be followed by a group discussion. Light refreshments will be served and free parking is available.
