Pittsburgh's Zoning Board of Adjustment has scheduled the upcoming hearings of interest to South Pittsburgh residents in the first floor hearing room of the John P. Robin Civic Building, 200 Ross Street, Downtown.
The following cases will be heard on Thursday, June 12:
Zone case 104/08 at 9:20 a.m. is the appeal of Helen M. Caparelli, owner of 200 Merrimac Street, requesting office and retail sales use of a one-story structure (two-story single family dwelling also on lot.
Zone case 101/08 at 9:30 a.m. is the appeal of Brian Haenze, owner of 2545 Brownsville Road, requesting use as a child daycare for up to six children, operating 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The following case will be heard on Thursday, June 19:
Zone case 106/08 at 8:50 a.m. is the appeal of Henry Hanson, owner of 128 Pius Street, requesting use as a first floor office (architecture) with one dwelling unit above; two 12' x 8' decks at the rear of the 2nd and 3rd floors; and, a 520 square foot 4th floor addition with deck on 3rd floor roof.
Plans are on file for these cases and may be inspected up to the date of the hearing. Anyone who wishes to be heard must appear in person. The board does not accept letters or petitions.
